Roberta Oster Sachs: richmond, va, United States; The global refugee crisis is exploding in Greece. There is a major food crisis in the Ritsona camp near Athens,which houses over 700 people. Volunteer Carolynn Rockafellow has stepped in - running "Cafe Rits" - a food distribution and cultural center at Ritsona. I am a former NBC news producer and volunteered at Cafe Rits in August, 2017. I'm sharing some of the stories from the refugees, volunteers, and Carolynn, in hopes that people will be moved to donate to Cafe Rits and/or help refugees in their own communities.
